Winning Star 4L Rice Cooker
Step 1: Measure & Rinse the Rice
-
Measure: Measure out your desired quantity of dry rice using a standard measuring cup.
-
Rinse: Rinse the rice thoroughly in a separate bowl until the water runs mostly clear. Avoid washing the rice directly in the non-stick pot to keep the coating intact.
Step 2: Add Water & Load the Pot
-
Water Ratio: Transfer the rinsed rice into the non-stick inner pot and add water using your preferred rice-to-water ratio
-
Set the Pot: Dry the bottom and outer surface of the inner pot completely, then place it firmly into the cooker base so it sits directly on the heating plate.
Step 3: Optional Steaming
-
If you want to steam vegetables, fish, or side dishes while cooking rice, place them into the top steamer attachment and sit it on top of the inner pot before closing the glass lid.
Step 4: Plug In & Cook
-
Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a wall socket. The WARM light will illuminate.
-
Push Lever Down: Push the front control switch down to start cooking. The light will switch from WARM to COOK
Step 5: Rest & Serve
-
Automatic Switch: Once the water has fully evaporated, the cooker automatically pops back up to the WARM setting.
-
Let It Steam: Leave the lid on for 10 to 15 minutes without opening it. This allows residual steam to complete the process for fluffy rice.
-
Serve: Remove the glass lid, fluff gently using a non-abrasive wooden or plastic spoon, and serve.
Maintenance Tip: Always disconnect the power cable and let the unit cool down before washing. Clean the non-stick liner and steamer basket with a soft sponge to preserve the coating.
