Rice Cooker Winning Star 8L
Step 1: Measure & Rinse the Rice
-
Measure: Use a standard rice measuring cup to measure the desired amount of dry rice.
-
Rinse: Rinse the rice in a separate bowl or colander until the water runs mostly clear. Avoid rinsing raw rice directly inside the non-stick pot to prevent scratching the coating.
Step 2: Add Water & Place the Pot
-
Water Ratio: Transfer the rinsed rice into the non-stick inner pot. Add water according to the standard ratio for your specific rice type (typically ratio of rice to water).
-
Insert Pot: Wipe the outside and bottom of the inner pot dry before setting it into the main heating housing. Ensure it sits flat and properly on the heating plate.
Step 3: Optional Steaming (Dual-Layer Cooking)
-
If you want to steam vegetables, fish, or dumplings while your rice cooks, place them in the top stainless-steel steamer tray and seat it directly above the inner pot before closing the lid.
Step 4: Start Cooking
-
Plug In: Connect the pure copper power cord to a standard wall outlet. The Warm light will usually turn on first.
-
Press Switch: Press the main control switch lever down to start cooking. The indicator light will shift from Warm to Cook
Step 5: Warm & Serve
-
Automatic Shutoff: Once all the water is absorbed, the switch will automatically pop back up, shifting the light back to Warm.
-
Let It Steam: Keep the lid closed for another 10 to 15 minutes. This allows the steam to finish cooking the rice, making it soft and fluffy.
-
Fluff & Serve: Open the lid using the handle, fluff the rice gently with a wooden or plastic spatula, and serve.
Cleaning Tip: Always unplug the cooker and let it cool completely before cleaning. Wash the non-stick inner pot and steamer tray with a soft sponge and mild dish soap to protect the coating.
